A licensed London operator gives you a booking from Croydon to Brighton, which is outside Greater London. Can you carry it out?
A London licensed driver in a London licensed PHV may do journeys that start or end outside Greater London. A licensed London PHV operator must have accepted the booking. If you are not sure a journey is legal, ask your operator. (Section 3 · page 16)

Taxi driver?
The taxi SERU uses its own handbook, so it has its own questions. The free test works for taxi too, and one price covers both.
Topographical test?
New PHV drivers also take TfL's topographical test. Practise on a London map: 3 routes, 30 map questions and all 25 lessons, free. No sign-up.
Common questions
Are you part of TfL?
No. We are not connected to TfL, and TfL does not approve or endorse us. To book your test, pay fees or ask about your licence, contact TfL directly.
Are these the real test questions?
No. The real test questions are not public, so nobody can sell them. We write our own practice questions from the TfL handbook. They are in the same style as the test, so you can practise the skills you need.
Is it for taxi drivers too?
Yes. SERU Practice covers both the private hire (PHV) and the taxi versions of SERU.
Is this a subscription?
No. When paid access opens, you will pay £19.99 once for 90 days access. It won't renew.
What if I don't pass?
Your access keeps working for the full 90 days, so you can keep practising for your resit. Look at your report to see which sections to work on.
